We offer a full and varied programme of events, including lectures on Italy and Italian cultural themes, social and networking events, private viewings, concerts and outings. Most of our events take place in or near London; but we try to organise occasional events elsewhere in the UK. All members receive a free copy of the Society’s annual magazine Rivista.
If you have an interest in modern Italy or in Italian art, music, literature, history, fashion, design, or business – or simply want to enjoy the company of others with a shared interest in Italy and Italians – why not join us?

Since it was founded in 1941, the British-Italian Society has worked to promote knowledge and understanding in the UK of Italian culture, including Italy’s history, institutions, way of life, language and wider contribution to civilisation.
